Origin Story

From the Road to
Real Estate

After serving in the U.S. Army, I spent years with Schwan's, driving a delivery truck and building relationships one door at a time. I learned early that success wasn't about selling — it was about serving. I would often go door-to-door helping customers, and one of my favorite promotions was encouraging families to buy three pizzas so they could earn a free ice cream. It wasn't just about the product; it was about creating value, earning trust, and building long-term relationships.

Those years taught me some of the most important lessons of my career: show up consistently, listen to people's needs, keep your promises, and treat every customer like family. The same skills that helped me become successful at Schwan's became the foundation of my real estate business.

In 2004, I transitioned into real estate looking for a career that would allow me to continue serving people while creating more opportunities for my family. What I discovered was that helping someone buy or sell a home isn't all that different from those days on my Schwan's route — it's still about relationships, trust, and helping people make decisions that improve their lives.

As a veteran, husband, father of twin daughters, and community advocate, I've built my business around one simple principle: Service Before Self. Today, with more than 22 years of experience, I combine that old-fashioned relationship-based approach with modern technology and AI to help my clients achieve their real estate goals.

Bowling & Softball

I currently serve as a Special Olympics coach for bowling, and previously coached softball as well. Working with Special Olympics athletes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life — these athletes bring an energy, determination, and joy that is truly inspiring.

Coaching taught me the same lessons that guide my real estate career: patience, clear communication, showing up consistently, and putting people first. Every athlete deserves someone in their corner who believes in what they can achieve.

This work is personal. As a father of twin daughters, including one with autism, I understand the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and creating spaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive — both on the lanes and in the communities we call home.
